Since founding ESI in 1975, Irv has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. His decades of experience include all aspects of environmental consulting.

Irv holds a BE in Chemical Engineering from City College of New York and an ME in Chemical Engineering from New York University. Additionally, he has completed Doctoral Studies in Occupational Safety and Health from New York University.

He has worked professionally in the environmental field since 1969, performing due diligence evaluations, leading environmental impact assessment teams for energy related projects including pipelines, refineries and coal gasification facilities, leading EHS Audit Teams for regulatory compliance and Company SOPs of operational sustainability and assisting clientele for their environmental needs.

He holds a Certified Environmental Professional designation since 1982 and is a Fellow of the of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute.

He is a NJ Licensed Subsurface Evaluator & Closure Professional.

As an expert witness, Irv has provided testimony at all levels of the judiciary system.
